The Office of Personnel Management is offering a new resource called “Structured Interviews: A Practical Guide.” The goal is to offer help to make the interviewing process easier and faster for both hiring managers and candidates. Angela Bailey, Deputy Associate Director for the Center for Talent and Capacity Policy at OPM, told me why they put the guide out, and what’s inside.

Meet The Next Gen, Same As The Old Gen

The Homeland Security Department’s Next Generation information sharing system is running into some of the same problems that plague the system it’s supposed to replace. David Powner, Director of IT Management Issues at the Government Accountability Office, says acquisition and project management issues are holding the system back.
