The House’s oversight of reform for the acquisition system at the Pentagon is done by the Defense Acquisition Reform Panel, under the auspices of the House Armed Services Committee. Last week the panel heard from David Ahern, Director of Portfolio Systems Acquisition in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisitions, Technology, and Logistics; and Mike Sullivan, Director for Acquisitions and Sourcing Management at the Government Accountability Office.
