Some big changes have happened recently in the world of new media at the Pentagon. Social media sites are available again to members of the military; blogging is being encouraged; and the official presence of the branches of the military on social media sites is greatly expanding. The new Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs, Price Floyd, talked to the Pentagon Channel last week about how – and why – these changes are happening.
