From “Troubled federal procurement data systems to get facelift” on FederalNewsRadio.com:

“The General Services Administration’s plan to integrate at least eight governmentwide acquisition systems has caught the attention of some member of Congress. And they are concerned about the path the agency is taking.

“Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.), chairwoman of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Ad Hoc subcommittee on Contracting Oversight, wants some answers before GSA begins work on this program.”

The hearing was called “Improving Transparency and Accessibility of Federal Contracting Databases.” We had highlights of the testimony and Q&A on the program today.
