Less than three weeks before he was to take over permanently, Acting Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Richard Myers was called to duty on September 11, 2001. General Myers shared with me his memories of that day, the significant changes to national security driven by the events of 9/11, and how it affected his career. We also talked about the success of the supply chain and his vision for fighting militant extremism, both militarily and politically.
