VA strategic center fills gap in acquisition chain

The Department of Veterans Affairs’ new Strategic Acquisition Center is designed to save the agency time and money by leveraging acquisition resources. But before it can do any of this, VA has some hurdles to get over. Iris Cooper, the associate deputy assistant secretary of Acquisition Logistics, and Construction for VA, discusses how the center fills a gap int he current acquisition chain.
