Hacker Anonymous attacks defense contractor Vanguard

The group hacked the private emails of Richard Garcia, the senior vice president at defense contractor Vanguard.

Hacker group Anonymous has struck again. This time, the group hacked the private emails of Richard Garcia, the senior vice president at defense contractor Vanguard, CIO.com reports.

The emails contained internal meeting notes and contracts,non-disclosure agreements and several dozen ‘counter-terrorism’ documents classified as ‘law enforcement sensitive’ and ‘for official use only.'”

The group says the attack was in retaliation for President Obama and NATO’s call for tougher action against hackers.

Vanguard sells unmanned aerial vehicles to the U.S. military.
