Chris Gorman, manager partner of the Efiia Group, joined Industry Chatter with Francis Rose to discuss the company’s efforts to help federal IT leaders jumpstart mobile planning and the use of mobile applications.
Gorman’s official bio on the Efiia website:
“ Chris has been working in the public sector IT market for sixteen years, with a strong track record of building revenue for emerging small-to-medium-sized companies new to the government marketplace. Chris has experience working directly for software manufactures, value added resellers, and system integrators. Through this combination of perspectives, Chris has been able to drive Efiia’s strategy for delivering innovative, integrated solutions to its customers through the combination of consulting, custom development, and COTS implementation. Chris maintains strong relationships within the DoD and Civilian IT communities, and is a guiding force for Efiia Cares non-profit activities. ” |
Kelly O’Connor is the president of Efiia Cares, the Efiia Group’s not-for-profit arm that provides pro bono services to bolster government services, also joined Francis Rose for an interview.
O’Connor’s official bio:
“ Kelly has fifteen years of management experience leading complex IT programs with a focus on private sector (Fortune 50) strategic IT initiatives and large-scale government programs. She was a founding member of Deloitte’s Federal Consulting Practice in 2002 and has published research and proprietary IT solutions for Harvard University’s Government Innovators Network, Gartner and Deloitte. Kelly is a former New York City high school teacher; she holds a BA from Fordham University and graduate degrees from Columbia University (MA) and New York University (MBA). Passionate about veteran-related issues, Kelly is an active volunteer, and an honorary court mentor, with the Buffalo Veterans Treatment Court. ” |
