A Pentagon investigation found DoD has been inadvertently shipping live samples of Anthrax to research facilities for at least a decade. The review found the samples went to at least 86 separate laboratories, and while there’s no evidence anyone was actually sickened by the deadly bacteria, there are inherent flaws in the way DoD manages its biological agents program.
