On this edition of Columbia Technology Partners Ready to Prime, host Allen Scott sits down with John Foster, vice president of Small Business for the AFCEA Central Maryland Chapter. You’ve heard of AFCEA International and the chapters in Northern Virginia and Bethesda, Maryland, but many of you have never heard of the AFCEA Central Maryland chapter.

John Foster is a Dad, Husband, Software Engineer, Manager, Blogger, Basketball and Golf enthusiast. He currently serves as the VP for Small Business for the AFCEA Central Maryland Chapter as well as the Director of Programs with Fearless Solutions LLC. Having worked professionally in software and management since 2003, John has experience with all aspects of software development (Web application development & IaaS), program management (certified PMP and SCRUM), and business development. He has served as the development lead of multi million dollar implementations for large public corporations and the government, and is big advocate for open source development with the Government. He received his bachelor’s from UMBC and his MBA from Loyola University.
