Molly O’NeillAssistant Administrator for the Office of Environmental Information and Chief Information Officer

Molly O’Neill knows her time is short.

As one of a handful of politically appointed Chief Information Officers, O’Neill has laid out nine priorities over the next five months.

She says her top one is to complete the strategy to improve access to environmental information.

O’Neill says she has two others she hopes to get done; three she hopes to make significant progress on; and three she wants to start.

She says her job is to figure how out to collect information in a way to fully use their infrastructure, and many times that means use different and new tools.
