Earlier this week we told you about a phishing scam targeting certain TSP members. Some Department of Justice employees received emails saying that if they’ve lost more than 30-percent in their TSP, they should click on a link — and give up their TSP password and other secure information. The TSP, with the help of DHS, launched an investigation, put up a notice on their website, joined us on the Daily Debrief and sent out warnings all to make sure nobody fell for the scam. Turns out, it was all just a test by DOJ. Unfortunately, the TSP didn’t know anything about it. Tom Trabucco is the director of external relations for the TSP.
