The FY 2009 budget has passed and some agencies are seeing an increase in money.

The Washington Post reports that the National Institutes of Health and the Food and Drug Administration are going to get a lot more funding when compared to FY 2008.

Mass transit, public housing and the supplemental nutrition program known as WIC are also going to get more federal funds.
