Insourcing has become all the rage, it seems, over the past couple of years.
One of the goals of the FY 2011 budget is to bring contracted jobs back into the federal government.
Not everyone’s happy about this, especially some small businesses, which have said that insourcing could unfairly impact them.
The Venable Law Firm has created the Small Business Coalition for Fair Contracting to give small businesses the chance to respond to insourcing.
Rob Burton is a partner at Venable and former deputy administrator of the Office of Federal Procurement Policy and tells us more.
