The Defense Department could do much better in the age of austerity than conventional wisdom suggests, according to new research by the CATO Institute.
Benjamin Friedman, a fellow in defense and homeland security studies at the CATO Institute, told the DorobekINSIDER that while 100 members of Congress have called for defense cuts, they probably won’t be as deep as some people expect.
