The Air Force is targeting this round of TERA to trim over-manned specialties. It’s open to staff sergeants through master sergeants who have between 15 and 19 years of experience, Air Force Times reports.

Additional criteria, if necessary, may include active duty service commitment, time in grade, and commander recommendation.

Those approved will receive a lifetime annuity plus health care and other retirement benefits.
