June 27, 2012 — — This week on Your Turn, attorney Tom O’Rourke joins host Mike Causey to talk about how feds and retirees can reduce their tax bite, and take control of their finances and estate by choosing wills, powers of attorney, and trusts.

Later in the show, Paul Forte and Mary Lou McGuiness, will answer the 10 questions you were afraid to (or didn’t know you should) ask about long term care. They are with Long Term Care Partners which manages the federal program.

Topics include:

  • What age should you consider buying a LTC policy?
  • What does it cover?
  • Does it duplicate benefits offered by Medicare, Medicad and your federal health plan?
  • What kind of a daily benefit is best?
  • Which is better, the government-backed LTC group plan or a private self-only policy?

Listen if you can (1500 AM or online), and if you have questions, Email us or call in during the show at (202) 465-3080. The show will be archived here.
