The Department of Defense is planning for a new dawn. Nearly half of its civilian workers will retire in the next few years. Officials at DoD are required to meet marks for their plans to place the right people in the right jobs. Brenda Farrell, GAO’s Director of Defense Capabilities and Management issues, joins us with an update on where DoD officials are in the process.
