GPO appoints new inspector general

Michael Raponi is the new inspector general at the Government Printing Office.

Michael Raponi is the new inspector general at the Government Printing Office.

Raponi previously served as deputy assistant IG at the Department of Labor. He has also served in IG offices at the departments of Veterans Affairs, Housing and Urban Development and Agriculture.

Raponi replaces interim IG Rodolfo Ramiriz, Jr.

“Based on his extensive experience in working for other inspectors general in the federal government, Michael Raponi brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this important position at GPO,” said Public Printer Bill Boarman in a statement.
