Will travel almost 4,000 miles in 50 days for the American Lung Association.

One government contractor is making the trek of a lifetime.

He is riding his bike across the country to raise money and awareness for cancer and lung disease.

Mark Koltz is an operations manager at Northrop Grumman Health Information Technology. He’s riding almost 4,000 miles in 50 days to benefit the American Lung Association.

The journey kicks off this Saturday in Oregon.

He tells us how he came up with the idea.
