4. “This is how DoD will cut 25 percent of its SES staff by 2022”
From February, DoD is reducing its senior executive service staff down to 1,260 members over the next four years. A December 2017 report outlined how the department and the military branches will reduce 158 employees from the senior executive service (SES) staff by 2022, as required by Congress in the 2017 National Defense Authorization Act.
