The VA’s Veterans Benefits Administration is using a web-based system to accept and process new claims for Vietnam-era disabilities connected to Agent Orange.
The agency said the hope is that the online portal will serve as a model for dozens of other categories of disability claims.
VA Chief Technology Officer Michael Cardarelli said the system, called “Fast Track” lets vets submit their initial claims online.
