March 1, 2011 — Approximately $20 billion of the $80 billion the government spends on information technology is a potential target for migration to the cloud, according to the new Federal Cloud Computing Strategy.
Dell has just hired Tom Patterson to show how that company may be able to help agencies. In addition to hiring Patterson, Dell also purchased SecureWorks.
SecureWorks/Dell processes more than 14 billion security events per day. Patterson discusses a recent presentation he gave on security where he covered advanced persistent threats, flash cookies, tapjacking, and clickjacking.
