July 22, 2011 — Despite the overwhelming focus on the budget deficit and debt ceiling, several pieces of legislation affecting federal law enforcement officers are making their way through Congress.

The legislation, along with several issues that are just proposals at this time, cover the gamut from the National Blue alert, to gun trafficking, to the pay freeze and budget cuts.

Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association President Jon Adler joins hosts Bill Bransford and Tony Vergnetti to discuss the legislation and other current issues affecting federal law enforcement officers.
