Medical records, logs and patient information are still kept on paper at Social Security Administration employee health clinics. But not for long. The SSA is developing an electronic health record platform. Officials will test a pilot version of the program at its headquarters outside of Baltimore and then expand it to its thirty centers across the nation by late 2010. SSA health centers provide medical care, counseling and preventative health tips to employees, contractors and visitors.
