How police forces are using Twitter

Learn more about how law enforcement is incorporating social media

Are you addicted to police scanners, or just love to be in the know? Now you can give your fix online: via Twitter. The Canadian Mounties are just one of many police forces around the world that are using Twitter to send out emergency information. And one blogger has compiled all those tweets into her blog called Cops 2.0. Christa Miller is also the US Chair of the Canadian Association for Police and social media. She says cops Tweeting is one of the fastest and easiest ways to communicate with people.
