Do you know how many data breaches your agency has had? If you answered no, you’re not alone.
A survey by Securosis found that two-thirds of cyber specialists don’t know how many data breaches they have encountered. The main reason, according to the survey, is cyberspecialists are bogged down by too many cyber regulations.
The survey polled 1,100 security practitioners both in government and industry.
Robert Rachwald, director of security strategy at Imperva, which partnered on the survey, joined the DorobekINSIDER to discuss cyber compliance requirements and what the lack of awareness about breaches could mean for your agency.
