How safe do you think cyberspace is? The bi-annual Unisys Security Index gauges areas of perceived security risks and concerns both in the U.S. and abroad.

The survey found that 80 percent of American regularly limit access to personal information via social media sites and 73 percent of Americans who access the internet regularly update antivirus software.

However, people’s mobile device security precautions have not caught up with precautions they take on their computers. Only 37 percent of Americans regularly use and update mobile device passwords, the survey found.

Patricia Titus, vice president and chief information security officer at Unisys Corporation, joined the DorobekINSIDER to discuss the level of concern people have over cybersecurity, including the security of electronic health records.
