IT jobs hit 2-year high

GovInfoSecurity reports that IT jobs hit 4 million in the past four quarters.

2010 was a good year to be in IT. The latest job numbers are in and IT hit a nearly two-year high.

With the number of employed IT pros in the past four quarters reached nearly 4 million, the highest its been since the first quarter of 2009.

But GovinfoSecurity reports it wasn’t all good news — the number of jobless IT pros rose by 10,000 during the final three months of the year. But unemployment experts actually see this raise as a could be a harbinger of an improving economy, as discouraged individuals reenter the job market with hopes of finding work.
