Are social networking threats taken too lightly. The answer is yes according to a new report from Sophos’ s “Security Threat Report.

And the survey finds the lack of concern is even more troubling because of a more than 20 percent hike in attacks from 2009.

Network World reports that more than half the companies surveyed for the report allow unlimited access to Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, and 59 percent of businesses surveyed think that employee behavior on social networks could endanger corporate security.
