The European Union’s cybersecurity agency has raised privacy and security concerns over new types of online cookies.

In a new report, the European Network and Information Security Agency has called for greater transparency in cookies that have been developed to help advertisers track and profile web consumers, The New New Internet reports.

The new types of cookies do not have enough transparency of how they are being used, the agency says.
