The goal of going green isn’t just for civilian agencies. Recently, the Army, Navy and Air Force said they want to buy thousands of electric cars and light trucks for on-base transport. Chris Tindal is Deputy Director for Renewable Energy in the Navy Energy Policy Office. That’s under the Office of Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Installations and Environment.
