Just how many private contractors are employed by the federal government? No one really knows – and the Partnership for Public Service says that’s a problem, especially in light the stimulus package that’s about to become law. The package is expected to spur contracting, but the Partnership says the federal contracting system is in need of serious repair. John Palguta is the Partnership’s Vice President for Policy and talks about what he thinks needs to be done.
