Famed former Russian spy Sergei Tretyakov has died. National Security correspondent J.J. Green joined the Federal Drive to discuss the circumstances of Tretyakov’s death, which appear to be of natural causes.
WTOP recently featured Tretyakov, who defected to the U.S. a decade ago, in the series Escaping from the Iron Curtain.
