BAE increases global cyber reach

BAE will increase its presence in the South East Asian and Australian market

BAE Systems says it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Stratsec.net. StratSec is an information security company in the Australian and South East Asian region that’s been providing information security consulting and testing services to government and commercial customers since 2004. BAE says buying StratSec will give them more capabilities and a larger footprint in the growing area of cyber and intelligence. The deal still faces regulatory approval, but should be done by the end of this year.
