Information technology is critical to the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s ability to carry out its home ownership and community development mission. HUD is required to develop a plan — and submit that plan to Congress — that’ll show how it plans to modernize its IT environment. The Government Accountability Office has taken a closer look at HUD’s plan. Joining us with their findings is Randy Hite, the Director of Information Technology Architecture and Systems Issues at GAO.
