DNS security survey looks at information sharing

A growing problem in cyber security is hacking of the DNS, or domain name servers. These are machines that make sure, that when you type in a URL or click on a link, the right web site comes up. The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers surveyed people running computer security incident response teams around the world. ICANN wanted to know if enough information about DNS breaches was reaching the teams. For details on the survey findings we spoke with Yurie Ito, Director, Global Security Programs at ICANN.
