Million Veteran Program consolidates vets’ health data

There could be a way for the VA to help advance the science of genomics, but they need veterans’ help to make it happen. Dr. Ronald Przygodzki is the Acting Director of Biomedical Laboratories Research and Development, and the Associate Director of Genomic Medicine at the Office of Research and Development at Veterans Affairs. He tells Federal News Radio the Million Veteran Program will consolidate genetic, military exposure, health, and lifestyle information for more than one million veterans into a single database.
