General Dynamics has won a $286 million contract to produce air-to-ground missiles for the Army. The Washington Business Journal reports that General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products will produce the Hydra-70 missiles. The Army orders those missiles for all branches of the military and some select allies. The unit recently delivered its four millionth Hydra rocket, which is fired from Apache and Kiowa Warrior helicopters.
