No federal agency has escaped a close-up look at something by the Government Accountability Office. As the main Congressional agency for oversight, the GAO’s work helps save or recover billions of dollars each year. Now — as it does periodically — the GAO took a close look at itself as it devises a new strategic plan. James Christian Blockwood, managing director for strategic planning and external liaison at GAO, joined Federal Drive with Tom Temin to talk about the agency’s plans.
