The National Institute of Standards and Technology recently staged a ribbon cutting of a 13-acre solar array on its Gaithersburg, Maryland, main campus. The array is a collaboration between NIST and the Federal Energy Management Program of the Energy Department. Just before the ribbon cutting, NIST Director Walter Copan and FEMP director Rob Ivester spoke with Federal Drive with Tom Temin about the program.
