Federal agencies could hire nearly 300,000 workers in the next three years, but who will fill those jobs? Last week, as the Partnership for Public Service released its 2009 “Where the Jobs Are” report at the National Press Club, two grad students from George Washington Unversity’s Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration were in the audience taking careful notes. Reporter Max Cacas spoke with Andrew Harris, a former member of the U.S. Army, and Christine Farolli, a former Capitol Hill staffer. Both say they’re keenly interested in a federal career.
