2009 Revisited: Aneesh Chopra on the Open Government Directive

A look back at our conversation with President Obama\'s technology czar on the administration\'s efforts to increase transparency.

We continue our look back at some of this year’s more interesting interviews. Today we hear from Federal Chief Technology Officer Aneesh Chopra. Earlier this month the Obama Administration released its Open Government Directive. It details 18 requirements agencies must meet in the coming months to attain one of the hallmark goals of the administration – transparency. Aneesh Chopra told us that, for the most part, he’s been receiving positive feedback.
