Overwhelmed execs still crave big data

ReadWriteEnterprise reports on a survey that found execs with access to a lot of data still want more.

A survey by Kelton Research finds managers feel overwhelmed with knowledge but still crave more data, ReadWriteEnterprise reports.

Kelton surveyed 543 execs from 17 countries.

Despite the amount of data they had, one-third of the respondents said they could not find the right people to provide the information they needed.

Nearly half — 46 percent — said they thought they made a bad business decision due to bad or outdated data.

And more than 60 percent wanted access to data faster.
