Last May, President Barack Obama announced a series of hiring reforms for the federal government – the elimination of KSAs, a new process for hiring recent graduates, and shortening hire times were just a few of the issues he addressed. How are agencies handling these reforms a year later? John Palguta, vice president for policy at the Partnership for Public Service, tells Federal News Radio the changes are more successful than many people realize.
