Two leaders on the ground in Iraq answered questions from reporters about the work they’re doing in that country. Army Col. Mark Dewhurst, commander of the 4th Brigade of the 10th Mountain Division, and Conrad Tribble, team leader of the embedded Provincial Reconstruction Team serving with Col. Dewhurst, gave statements and took questions from members of the Pentagon media corps.

Fake Parts in Your Agency’s Equipment

Counterfeit parts are showing up more and more in Federal acquisitions. The Commerce Department is in the process of putting together data to show exactly how much material is fake. Brad Botwin, Director of the Bureau of Industry and Security at the Commerce Department, gave a preview of the data that the report will contain when it comes out in 2009.
