A series of hearings hosted by the Defense Acquisition Panel of the House Armed Services Committee is looking at making the acquisition process work better.

Wednesday’s hearing was titled Coordinating Requirements, Budgets, and Acquisition: How Does It Affect Costs and Acquisition Outcomes?

The witness panel included former Defense Secretary Gordon England; retired Admiral Edmund Giambastiani, now Chairman of the Board of Alenia North America; and retired Air Force Lieutenant General Ron Kadish, now a Vice President with Booz Allen Hamilton.
