The Federal government needs all kinds of workers – that’s not news. One subset of workers the government needs are security-cleared employees. Tuesday the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Subcommittee on Oversight of Government Management, the Federal Workforce, and the District of Columbia got an update at a hearing called “Security Clearance Reform: Moving Forward on Modernization.” Federal News Radio’s Max Cacas was there, and reported about it here.
