James VanAntwerp is the winner of the Federal Managers Association\'s Federal Manager of the year award.

James VanAntwerp is the winner of the Federal Managers Association’s Federal Manager of the year award. VanAntwerp is the technical director of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division in Keyport, Washington According to his online bio, VanAntwerp began his federal career in 1981.

He said he has worked hard on retention at his office, particularly for women. He created the Professional Women Employee Networking Group. His accomplishments include setting up a daycare center and encouraging women to practice leadership skills, according to FMA.
