It’s Public Service Recognition Week, and some agencies are taking the time to say “Thank you” to the federal workforce that makes it all happen. Here’s what OPM had to say at the beginning of the week:
Meanwhile, the National Archives led off with some interesting historical perspectives on the federal workforce, including quite a bit about the expanding roles of women throughout the years.
NARA also began spotlighting individual federal employees for recognition, and sharing their stories.
And Veterans Affairs Secretary David Shulkin made the rounds, thanking employees personally.
